From kindergarten to college, education is definitely the wave of the future. When it comes to learning, animals are certainly no exception.

Do you have a puppy waiting to learn dog obedience? Maybe you have a problem dog who chews everything in sight, or maybe barks constantly or digs holes all over the yard? When you call your dog, does it just lay down and roll over or just run the other way? When you walk it on a leash, does it lag way behind you or does it forge ahead practically pulling your arm off? When a stranger approaches your home does you dog run to the back room and hide, or does it continue to bark and growl was after a friend has arrived and is sitting down inside your house?

 

Judy Warren, the owner and master training instructor of the California Canine Academy, can help you with all these problems and many more as well. The California Canine Academy Campus is conveniently located in a beautiful country park-like setting in Merced, California. This campus is on 3 lushly landscaped acres, surrounded by over 60 acres of pastures and spacious fields. The training and exercise areas are lined with mature trees, grassy lawn areas, park benches and a doggy playground. There is a shaded seating area within the training arena, complete with a refreshing misting system, to keep cool during your classes.

 

The California Canine Academy is a college for dogs. We offer beginning to advanced levels of dog obedience training, agility training, dog socialization classes, good citizen classes, and we can even board and train your dog here if you don't have the time to come to class yourself. There are individual private classes, group classes and "in-kennel" private training. We are open 6 days a week (closed Thursdays) and offer classes from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but can work with you if you need other options.

 

Our campus is truly a great family type atmosphere for the dogs and their humans, whether it be for training, boarding, or just to socialize. While we do tend to cater to the dogs, we haven't forgotten their humans as our pricing is very easy on the wallet or purse, and is the best deal in town!
