Assistance Dogs

California Canine Academy Assistance Dogs, a Non-Profit 501(c)3 corporation, located in Merced California was founded in the year 2000 by Judy Warren. Miss Judy is a Master Dog Training Behaviorist who has been providing excellent dog training for over 45 years. She has now begun a new program of training and providing Service Dogs for disabled persons to assist them in their daily activities. Miss Judy believes there is a very specific and urgent need in the community for dogs who are professionally trained to help people with disabilities. The goal of CCA/ Assistance Dogs is to Train Special Dogs to assist Disabled people in making their lives easier with more freedom and independence.

Judy graduated from the West Virginia Canine College in 1996 at the top of her class. Most recently, she graduated from a very intensive training program at the Assistance Dog Institute (ADI) in Santa Rosa, California. ADI is the only school in California that has been legally certified to award Master of Science and Associate of Science degrees in Assistance Dog Education and Human Canine Life Sciences.
